Gordon Winfree

Mr. Winfree received his helicopter training in the U.S. Army from 1980-1985. For the next five years he worked with Helicopters International, where he received extensive training in powerline construction work and external load operations.

Between 1990 and 1992 he operated helicopters for Transwestern Helicopters, Inc. and Associated Helicopters, performing both powerline projects and forest service contracts. In 1992, Mr. Winfree founded Winco, Inc., and focused his attention on powerline construction, logging more than 15,000 flight hours to date.
